Appointments are available on the day

A moderate number of appointments can be booked on the day by the Receptionist.

Urgent problems on the day

When the appointments on the day are no longer available, you are then offered a telephone list appointment with a Doctor who will contact you to make a clinical assessment whether an face to face appointment is necessary or advice over the phone will suffice.

Pre-bookable Appointments

Some pre-bookable appointments are available and can be booked up to two weeks ahead.

Pre-bookable Telephone Consultations

These can be booked for a Doctor to ring you back at an agreed time during the day. These are not the same as the telephone list mentioned above where calls are dealt with on apparent medical priority.

Other Health Professionals

You might like to consider speaking other health professionals for advice such as the practice nurse, a health visitor, pharmacist contacting NHS Direct on Tel No: 0845 4647

Please remember to make us aware of your circumstances

Please tell us that you go to work and suggest a time to ring because you may be driving to work or may have to take a call at work. Provide us with you mobile phone number to allow more freedom to move away from sensitive areas at work to take a call.
